Alternatively, cook the mixture on a stove with a heat level set at medium-low. Stir the mixture frequently while cooking. Cook for about 30 minutes. The aim of the process is to sweeten and thicken the milk naturally. You can reuse the soaked raisins to sweeten your smoothing or to top oatmeal instead of throwing them away.

Step 2– Use a mesh strainer (fine option) to sieve the raisins. Reuse or discard them.

Step 3– Add the condensed milk (1 ½ cups), maple syrup, arrowroot starch, and any preferred type of milk into a saucepan.

Step 4– Cook the contents under medium heat for about 6 to 8 minutes. Alternatively, you can know that the mixture is ready when it starts thickening and is almost bubbling.

Step 5– Remove the contents from the heat. Add vanilla extract. Next, stir the contents to combine.
